Pham Truong Son
Pham Truong Son, Meritorious artist, is now teaching violin and in charge of Chamber Music in String department of Vietnam National Academy of Music.
Winning the First Prize of Chamber Music of Autumn National Music Competition in 1993.
He was jury of Thailand Mozart String competition in 2011, Chiang Mai Ginastera competition in 2016,2017, 2018, 2019. Also jury of ‘Rising Stars’ International music festival and competition in 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023.
In 2024 he is a jury of GOLD STARS international music competition in Malaysia, and jury of "Concorso Internazionale Rovere d’Oro" in Italy
His students have graduated from VNAM and now they are members of Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra and other music organizations.
Acting as a soloist, chamber music player, contemporary player, concert master and principle 2nd violin of Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra.
He founded Song Hong Chamber Music in 2009 and Hanoi New Music Ensemble in 2015. Song Hong and Hanoi New Music Ensemble become leading ensembles in Vietnam. They performed hundreds of concerts in most of major cities in Vietnam and in UK, Singapore , Thailand, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, and The United States.
