Hirotaka Ogura
Hirotaka Ogura was born in Tokyo, Japan. He studied at the Senzoku Gakuen college of music, earning a master’s degree at the university there in 2017, under Prof. Mika Kadokura.
Hirotaka won first prize at the PIARA piano competition-South Kanto Region,
in 2015. He then went on to also win the PIARA National level in 2015.
In 2016, he won 4th prize at the North Kanto piano competition.
In 2017, Hirotaka received a Ginastera special prize (Honorable Mention) in the Chiangmai-Ginastera international music festival and competition.
His learning experiences include participation to the Todi International Music Masters 2017 in Todi, Italy, where he took masterclasses from Professors Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Chen Yunjie, Enrico Elisi, Eteri Andjaparidze, and Eduardo Delgado.He also studied at Prof.Atsuko Seta’s masterclass in Tokyo, and in Thailand, from 2013 to 2015, and in 2017.
