Michiko SHIOTSUKA

After graduating from Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, Michiko pursued advanced studies in master courses both in Japan and France. She regularly holds solo recitals, works as an accompanist, judges competitions, and teaches at her alma mater. Michiko has performed for various embassies, corporations, and on Japanese television programs. She has collaborated with the Tirgu Mures State Philharmonic Orchestra and the Oltenia Philharmonic Orchestra in Romania. Her mentors include renowned musicians such as Mari Arai, Max Egger, Henriette Puig-Roget, Georges Pludermacher, Lazar Berman, Edson Elias, and Natalia Trull. Michiko's accolades include the Excellent Award and Excellent Performance Award at the Japan Classical Music Competition, as well as the Espoir Award from the Osaka International Music Competition. She has expanded her international presence, performing in Munich, Germany, as well as Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand. Michiko is a full member of PTNA (Piano Teachers' National Association).
