"Duo-Scherzo" (Megumi Nakao / Miho Matsuo)

Graduates of Osaka College of Music, they formed their piano duo in 1984. In 2024, they will hold their "40th Anniversary Piano Duo Recital."

They won first place in the Piano Four-Hands Division of the Osaka International Music Competition and were awarded the First Prize Gold Medal at the Asia International Cultural and Arts Festival.

The duo has performed in China by special invitation and held "Piano Duo Recitals" in Thailand and Poland. At the 1st "Chiang Mai Ginastera International Music Festival & Competition," they performed in the presentation concert and served as jury members for the Chiang Mai preliminary round.

They are also lecturers for the Agency for Cultural Affairs' "Artist Dispatch Project."

Their mentors include Prof. H. Nakagawa and Prof. A. Seta.
